Competition description

The competition starts from the start area, and the contestants must carry the AA (AA) alkaline battery placed at point A through the gate to point B, and compete in the shortest time until it stops in the goal area.
The machine may deviate from the black track marked on the competition field, but the battery will be restarted if it deviates from the black line or falls over.
The battery brought to point B must be within the circle, and it is considered insufficient if it protrudes or falls over.
The goal is considered to be reached when the machine is within the goal area and has come to complete stop.
If a part of the machine is overhanging or has passed through the goal, it is not considered as the goal, and timing will continue until the machine is completely stopped within the goal area.

 Competition field:
Download the competition field file from the Micromechanism event website and
print it on A4 size or larger paper.

 Paper for competition field:
No particular type is specified as long as it is flat paper of A4 size or larger.
Use the appropriate paper for each machine.

 Batteries to be used:
Use AA alkaline batteries. The manufacturer does not matter.

 Shooting a video:
Please shoot a video of the operation and upload the video that reached the goal
in the shortest time to Application Form. When taking video, please note the following two things.

1) Camera angle and angle of view
@ Please set up the camera vertically in the center of the competition field and shoot from directly above the field. Adjust the angle of view so that the entire competition field is visible.
The camera should be set up in a vertical position at the center of the competition field and the angle of view should be adjusted so that the entire competition field can be seen.
A From the start of the machine's operation until it comes to a stop at the goal, the camera should remain fixed and not move.
However, before the start of operation or after the goal, the camera may be hand-held and photographed in order to explain the details of the machine.

2) Simultaneous Photographing of Timing Devices
@Please photograph the clock, smartphone clock app, or other device used for timekeeping so that it appears as part of the screen.
A Although there are no specific locations for clocks and smartphones, please do not place them in the start area, finish area, or on the running line.
B Please ensure that the clock display is large enough to be seen by those watching Youtube.
You may use a video compositing function to composite the clock and time display.

Restrictions

(a) the event will be held in the wireless category only.

(b)From this year's competition, the radio division will be divided into two classes: the "remote control class", which allows remote control by radio, and the "autonomous driving class", which only allows autonomous movement (newly established).

(c)Machine Regulation for Remote Control Class
Wireless machines must fit in a box of size 20 mm*20 mm*30 mm.(including hand arm, antenna and receiver for receiving radio signals, terminals for supplying power for starting.) The running style is free to run, fly, bounce, etc.

(d)Machine Regulations for Independent Driving Class
Wireless machines must fit in a box of size 30 mm*30 mm*30 mm.(including hand arm for starting.)
The dimensions do not include terminals that are expected to be frequently plugged and unplugged, such as the interface for program transfer from an external PC on the actual device. After the start of the competition, these dimensions may be exceeded or even separated.
The running style is free to run, fly, bounce, etc.
